How AUDIOLENDER Works?

AUDIOLENDER is an innovative platform offering original audio content for rent. Here, every registered user can both rent audio from other users and rent out their own. The platform is a place for personal development, entertainment, education, and business. The information is divided into four main categories: podcasts, lessons, audiobooks, and musical works.

The rental period for an audio clip is 24 hours, with a maximum duration of 90 minutes. During the rental period, the clip can be listened to an unlimited number of times.

Payments are made with credits, which users load into their profiles by purchasing one of our credit packages.

What sets AUDIOLENDER apart from similar platforms is that users are not subscribing to just one author; there are no monthly fees. All that's needed is to load credits into your virtual wallet, and you'll have access to all the content from all authors on the site.

Thanks to the paid service, the platform does not display ads on the audios, and authors earn solely from the users who rent them. The rental price is set individually by the authors themselves. The minimum rental price for 1 audio is 1 credit. The amount paid to authors by the platform is 3 cents per credit. This means that for 100,000 rentals of an audio costing 1 credit, the author earns 3,000 USD. For comparison, competitive platforms would pay only between 150 and 300 USD to an author for 100,000 views or listens to their content.

Another unique feature in AUDIOLENDER is that additional images can be attached to each audio. Besides in the gallery associated with the audio, these images can also be visualized "live" directly in the clip's player at a specific moment. This is extremely useful for authors uploading lectures, lessons, or audiobooks with graphic and visual material. This way, users can observe the specific image being discussed while listening, or if they're on the move, they can view the images later in the gallery.

One more convenience of the system is that it automatically remembers where the rented audio was last played. So, every time the clip is played again, the user will start from where they left off.

Regarding the term "sale":

For convenience, in some places on the platform, we will refer to renting the audio as a "sale".

Author levels:

The amount of content each author can upload is limited based on their level in the platform.

Level 1: New authors - can upload up to 1 GB of content;

Level 2: Unlocked after 15,000 sales. These authors can upload up to 6 GB of content;

Level 3: Unlocked after 50,000 sales. These authors can upload up to 20 GB of content;

Level 4: Unlocked after 100,000 sales. These authors can upload up to 50 GB of content;

Level 5: Unlocked after 1,000,000 sales. These authors can upload up to 1 TB of content.

Credit Packages:

Credit packages are necessary for renting audio on the platform. Each credit package is valid for 180 days from the date of purchase. If the user has not used all the credits after this period, the system will deactivate and permanently delete them. However, if the user purchases a new credit package within these 180 days from the last purchase, all unused credits from the old package will be transferred to the new one and acquire its validity period.

In practice, with each new package purchase, all active credits from previous credit packages inherit its validity period.

Clarifications to the Profile menu:

Anyone registered on the platform can be both a user/supporter and an author. (For more information, read the Terms and Conditions)

To summarize:

• A User/Supporter is someone who rents audio clips on AUDIOLENDER

• An author is someone who creates audio clips and uploads them to their profile for other users to rent

Once you've signed up, you'll see two main categories in your profile:

• User menu - the user part of your account

• AUDIOLENDER Studio – the authoring part of your account

At the top of the "User Menu" are:

  • Available Credits - these are the credits you have purchased from AUDIOLENDER to use to rent audio clips from other authors on the platform. The remaining options in the menu are:
  • Rented audio clips - displays a list of all active and inactive clips that you have rented;
  • Buy credit packages
  • Profile settings

At the top of AUDIOLENDER Studio you'll find:

  • Author Level - this is your platform level which determines how much disk space you have available to upload your own audio clips. Further down the menu is:

  • Unpaid income – here is the current amount of credits you have accumulated from renting your audio clips from other users;
  • Income paid - displays a list of all payments from the platform to you.

Important: Credits earned from renting out your audio clips cannot be transferred to "Available Credits", ie. to the credits you have purchased as a user to rent audio clips on the platform.
